About

Havva is a Costume Designer born and raised in London, UK. A graduate of London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London she holds a BA (Hons) Costume Interpretation and a BTEC Art Foundation with a specialism in Textiles and Theatre.

Her creative journey started at a young age, making dolls’ clothes on her grandmother’s sewing machine durings her summers in Cyprus. It was there she discovered her passion for costume and for building immersive worlds for stage and screen.

Having established herself as an Emmy nominated costume supervisor in HETV, both in the UK and internationally, and after writing several articles and co-curated exhibitions on historical dress, feminism and fashion, Havva has returned to her creative roots - now with the ability to work a range of budgets while balancing both creative vision and the practical needs of each production.

Over the years of working in the industry, she has built strong, lasting relationships with hire houses, crews and resources worldwide. She also speaks Turkish fluently and is always ready for the next challenge.
